The ship can be used as a hotel, café-restaurant, museum and for educational purposes. For use as a hotel or hotel-casino, some of the public rooms and ca. 500 staterooms are well suited. The La Fontaine and Odyssey Dining Rooms still are great restaurants. In addition, there is the Lido Restaurant with terrace and outdoor swimming pool. In the Ocean Bar, Ritz Carlton and Ambassador Lounge it is a feast to celebrate just anything! The Queens Lounge, which extends over the full width of the ship, is a wonderfull ball room. And how about the Sky Room, the cosy night club on one of the upper decks? For theatre and music performances, the Auditorium can be used with 600 seats, including balcony. Conferences and courses can also be held here. Furthermore, the ship can serve as a museum for cultural and industrial heritage. Art historians and students of architecture can experience what can be achieved by a good coöperation between artists and architects. For maritime training the ship provides a wealth of tradidional instruments and high-tech equipment. |
