You can visit the infocenter at the Brede Hilledijk 99a, about 200 meters west of Metrostation Rijnhaven, at Katendrecht, Rotterdam. Opening hours: Wednesday till Friday between 1 PM and 5 PM, Saturday and Sunday between 11 AM and 5 PM. See the photopage and the virtual tour for an impression. On December 1st 2007, during a crowded meeting of supporters of our foundation, the well known photographer Daniel van de Ven told about his work during the building and sea trials of the s.s. Rotterdam in 1959 [photos]. The day before the former top of the radarmast was erected in the infocenter. Captain Albert Schoonderbeek took care of the top to bring it back to the Netherlands. On January 19th 2008 in the infocenter the foundation thanked him for rescuing the top of the radarmast [ photos ].
